Where are you based?
We are based in Eastbourne in East Sussex.
Can you deliver the Campers?
We like you to collect and return the camper vans from us so we can ensure you have a proper induction into the workings of the van.
Can you collect us from the station or airport?
We will gladly pick you up from Eastbourne station or can arrange taxi collection from Gatwick airport.
How much deposit do we have to pay?
We take a £100 deposit when you book to secure the booking and a £500 refundable deposit when you collect the camper van. The balance of the rental is due four weeks prior to your holiday.
What type of camper vans are they?
Our vans are purchased new from Danbury Motors and are manufactured by Volkswagen in Brazil. They are VW T2 classic camper vans. Our vans all have rack and pinion and power steering (not available before 2010 models) which makes driving them much easier.
What if we have to cancel?
If you cancel more than four weeks prior to your holiday you will lose your £100 deposit. Between two and four weeks you will lose the £100 deposit plus 50% of the balance and less than two weeks you will lose the total rental price.
Is insurance included?
Yes, drivers between 25 and 75 (with less than six penalty points) are covered for fully comprehensive insurance. Drivers with over six points may be subject to an insurance surcharge. Two drivers are permitted per hiring.
How much is the excess?
The hirer is subject to a £500 excess in the event of an accident.
What happens if we breakdown?
Our vans are fully covered by AA insurance who will assist you. As our campers are new for 2010 we are confident they will be reliable.
Where can we leave our car when we are away?
We will provide secure undercover garaging for your car at our base in Eastbourne. This is provided free of charge.
Are there age restrictions for hiring the Camper vans?
Hirers should be between the ages of 25 and 75
Can we bring our dog /pets?
We regret we cannot accept dogs or pets in our VW camper vans.
Do you insure our personal belongings?
Our insurance does not cover your personal belongings so we recommend you take out your own personal insurance.
What is the arrangement regarding fuel?
The VW camper van is provided with a full tank of unleaded petrol and should be returned with same.
Do you provide bedding?
We provide duvets, sheets, pillows, pillow cases and towels for all our guests.
Do you provide a bike rack?
A bike rack that will take two bikes is included in your rental.
Do you provide the stand alone awning?
A stand alone awning is also included in the rental.
